For my Public Relations Writing class in the fall of 2022, we were tasked with creating a sample press kit for a for-profit and non-profit organization of our choice. I chose to write my press kit as if I was the public relations practitioner for CSX and Habitat for Humanity. The goal of creating this sample media kit was to gain and strengthen our experience in different writing styles. This media kit includes a facts sheet, media advisory, news release, media pitch, feature story, social media mix, blog post and donor letter.
