Writer and Graphic Designer

 

Hello! My name is Sierra, and I am a writer and graphic designer based in Fernandina Beach, Florida. I am passionate about writing, and I hope to partner with you to communicate your professional messages clearly and effectively. I see writing as an opportunity to creatively leave a lasting impression on my target audience.  

I graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville in Florida with my associate of arts degree. Since then, I have been working on my bachelor’s degree in public relations at the University of North Florida. I enjoy writing so much that I am minoring in public and professional writing. I have experience creating advertising content in the graphic design programs Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva. As a dynamic writer and graphic designer, I believe I have  an integral and valuable skill set to bring to any project that comes my way!

I am the secretary and social media ambassador for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at UNF. I am a hard worker, as demonstrated by my high GPA of 3.73. I have been an A-B student throughout my collegiate career and I take pride in my work. I am self-motivated and determined to continue to challenge myself in pursuit of my goals.

I enjoy strategically using social media and uniquely pairing my photography with creative advertising messages. I am proficient in navigating social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google for both personal use and professional consumption. I am also well-versed in using Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

When I am not completing piles of homework or writing papers, you can find me hanging out with my puppy, reading up on current events, walking on the beach, chasing sunsets, taking photos with my camera, and binge-watching all the Superman movies.
